“Eyes of Karras”

Winner of the 2000 Nashville Independent Film Festival “Best Children's Film”, this independent animated short was produced using rotoscoping methods with a motorised Nicon stills camera to picture several key positions to draw from for completing the animation. The inbetweens were then hand drawn.
The backgrounds were painted on cartridge paper using inks and scanned into the computer. Finally, the animation images were painted in the computer and put together using Animo software.
